La Dirección de Postgrado informa a los estudiantes que ya se encuentran disponibles los resultados de la Postulación a las Becas para Asistencia a Congresos, para alumnos que postularon el segundo semestre.
Para recibir los recursos de la Beca, los alumnos deberán estar matriculados en su programa de Postgrado y comunicarse por lo menos con 2 semanas de anticipación con Víctor Real (victor.real@usm.cl). Además, deberán tomar en cuenta el Instructivo para Asistencia a Congresos Nacionales o Internacionales, con Facturas a nombre de la Universidad en cuanto a pasajes aéreos, pago de inscripción al congreso y alojamiento.
Aquellos alumnos que no han enviado carta del profesor o aceptación al congreso, deberán hacerlas llegar vía correo electrónico.

This PIIC (Programa de Incentivo a la Iniciación científica in spanish)call will be open until Thursday 29 September for all postgraduate students who meet requirements.
The Department of Postgraduate Programs reports that the second call for the Programa de Incentivos a la Iniciación Científica (PIIC) 2016, which aims to motivate and encourage graduate student’s knowledge of scientific and technological research, has already opened.
To obtain the grant a student must perform a specific function sponsored by an academic from the University and associated with a research project (UTFSM, FONDECYT, FONDEF or other), as well as provide an article to be published in journals of excellence of the Journal Citation Report.
Those who receive the PIIC will receive a monthly economic stipend for 10 months, in the case of master degree students and 10 months, renewable for a similar period for doctoral students (with a new application).
